What is Neuro Linguistics Programming (NLP) and why should you and I be interested in learning its techniques? “Neuro” refers to the brain and the neural network that feeds the brain. Since everything one thinks, says or acts upon is originated and controlled by the thought processes in the brain, it’s critical that we learn to influence other people’s neuro processing in order to have them make decisions and take actions that are beneficial to themselves and us. NLP is often referred to as “the language of sales” because NLP techniques have proven highly effective in having Prospects make decisions and take actions related to buying or selling. “Linguistics” refers to the verbal content of the NLP techniques which alter current filters and realities in the mind of the Prospect allowing them to progress to making decisions and taking action. Everyone has belief systems (filters) and their own realities (valid in their own mind) which, when examined, are most often limiting beliefs and realities that require modification to come into alignment with the best reality to achieve an optimal outcome.
